We do not have a hotel block.
It’s pretty easy to get many places in New York and there are hotels everywhere! If you’re familiar with the city, you should stay wherever you want that’s exciting to you. If not, here are a few places you can consider.
A 22 minute walk, 15 minute subway, or 10 minute Uber to the venue.
Located in Downtown Brooklyn, a neighborhood with a prototypical “downtown” feeling that provides a lot of train convenience to the entire city. The 22 minute walk from here to the venue will take you down Smith St, through a nice area of Cobble Hill, to Carroll Gardens. This is a good balance of general convenience while being adjacent to nice Brooklyn neighborhoods like Fort Greene.

A 21 minute walk, 15 minute subway, or 6 minute Uber to the venue.
Located in Park Slope, a less dense, picturesque residential area of Brooklyn close to Prospect Park. Just take the F train to the venue with a bit of walking on both sides. Note: a little further removed from Manhattan and the rest of the city than Nu Hotel or a hotel in Downtown Brooklyn.

A 15 minute walk or 5 minute Uber to the venue.
Located on the edge of Carroll Gardens and Red Hook, you can’t get closer to the venue than this. Red Hook has a slightly industrial feeling to it, but has gems like Defontes, Red Hook Tavern, Cafe Kestral, and Goog.
⚠️ Note: this is very close to the venue but is less convenient if you want a weekend exploring New York City; it is further removed from subway options.

⚠️ Further away! Not walking distance, a 30 minute subway ride or Uber to venue.
If you want to stay in another part of Brooklyn, maybe you’d consider Williamsburg, which has a lot of shopping and restaurants and is a quick ride on the L into Manhattan. The Penny is a great spot in Williamsburg and Haley + Josh stayed here while Brooklyn from LA. There’s some great food at El Nico on the top floor.
